Microsoft has stopped developing Expression Encoder and focused on adding encoding, format conversion, and live on-demand streaming as a part of Windows Azure Media Services. Great piece of software that can allow even a novice with some basic understanding to be able to produce a quality video. I especially liked that I could take parts of various videos and splice them /27084.txt like they always belonged.

Downside was that there was not much you could edit to remove background noise. I remember I was editing a video that I took a customers, and we were recording near a window and they landscapers where working outside.

I did not think too much about it when I was filming, because I thought it would not come into the video that loud. WOH I was wrrrooonnggg!
